I agree with all of the above. Definitely get a bigger than five inch screen. Min. seven inch. Also all units are not created equal. Go somewhere and compare resolutions and functions. Discover a new lake on one you thought you knew.

I make panfish jigs for personal use and sell some. I don't pour my own any more as bare jigs are pretty cheap, but I do paint them and dress them. I've found a limited market for lead jigs any more as tungsten is taking over the market. Just a matter of time before lead will be banned, in my opinion, so I have started making ball head tungsten jigs. There are so many people putting fancy paint jobs on cheap Chinese tungsten jigs that one cannot compete in the market so I end up donating a lot to charitable events. Still I enjoy making, painting and using my own creations. I don't do fancy paint jobs, just powder paint dips which are doable with the jigs I make. Will never get into air brush painting so nothing fancy, just plain glow heads with different eye patterns. There is a challenge in making very small panfish jigs where 1/16th oz and larger I find little challenge in. PM me if you want more info.

Always appreciate your input and candor. I've been frustrated with the LACK of discussion about area lakes when obviously so many "view" the threads. With folks like Looper bashing somebody who actually contributes it's no wonder more don't submit reports

I agree with you VET. I also enjoy Reinhard's post's. Very knowledgeable about the area and lots of historical info.
Fish Lake a secret spot is laughable. Plenty of room for everyone out there.

Any MnDOT truck scale should weight your unit and give you a printout for individual axles and total weight.

I am using shrink tube. 1 inch cheapo stuff you find at a discount hardware store. Form fits with no damage and holds tight.

I have a older king crow house that uses the standard 1157 12 volt bulbs. Can I just replace the old light bulbs for LED bulbs without replacing fixture? If so what bulbs and where do I get them? Thanks

Yes you can replace them without replacing the fixture. Found the best buy on Amazon, but there are other places. Just make sure to not get the directional ones.

I'm using two Tica's which are over ten years old and they are as good as when I bought them. Don't know if they have cheapened the newer ones or not, but no problems for me.

I pmed you a link to a really good deal

You would just have to get some bolts and a soft case and you would be set

Got it. Seems like a decent enough buy. I'll check it out. Thanks.
