Found this nifty link for snow/rain totals around the state.

Does anyone know if there are any show discounts on Lowrance Elite TI models? I think there is a factory rebate for a month or so.

Thanks, Crestliner8--I do have a bow switch and that's unaffected...just on the throttle. I thought it was curious that it works in forward but not neutral or reverse. Figured it might not be making contact in those positions. I don't know how it's set up inside the throttle assembly, though.

Figured I'd check in with some of the mechanical folks with an issue with my 2001 Crestliner Sport/Fish with Merc 125. It's a wheel steer with side throttle. The trim now only works from the throttle switch in forward gear....won't work in neutral or reverse. Thinking it might be an adjustment as the switch works in gear. Any thoughts on the fix?? Thanks!

Have a cabin on Winnie and this year has been a challenge to say the least. Hardly any trailers in the parking lots and few folks on the water. I check out the tournament results and you saw how they are struggling to come in with six fish. The worst results I saw for one of the days in July averaged 2 fish per boat. Many without a fish.... I know there is a lot a small perch in the lake, so the walleyes are not suicidal like on Mille Lacs but haven't seen it this tight lipped.

My Merc had an issue where the tilt would just spontaneously lower the motor and keep spinning when it bottomed out. I'd have to disconnect the leads to the battery to stop the tilt motor. Reconnect and everything was fine. Turned out to be the voltage regulator.

Give these folks a call. We've bought leeches from them and they were very accommodating. Bagged and in a cooler they should be fine. Rainy Lake Sports...Ft. Francis

We have a cabin on Winnie and fish both on opener. Numbers of anglers are much less than in years past. Take a look at Bowens Resort and Eagle's Nest Lodge. Both are excellent resorts and have good access.
