I cant find marathons - even asked - seems they dont make them in the size anymore - thats what im taking off. After much reading and reviews, seems all of the makers have their detractors. With that said, im having a pair of Carlisle Radial Trails mounted in load range D, which is a step up from the Marathons that were a C. Also higher speed rating.

Keep the air up and the speed down and they should be fine...
(i keep telling myself that)

Time for new trailer tires - i have a single axle shorelander with a 17" crestliner on it. Anyone have reasons to go with or stay away from one brand or another? Or are they all about the same - other than bias or radials. There will be radials going on, though...

Where are all the worms or crawlers after all this rain? It seems pretty unusual not to see any this time of year after all the rain...

Well, i wasnt able to get out as much as i would have liked, between high wind, hurricanes, and other obligations. Wasnt able to land any fish, but a good time was had by the kids, just being out and scooting around the lake. They especially thought it was neat to stand on the bottom while in the middle of the lake on the north side rock bar.

OK - does anyone have and use autochart on the newer units? I just want to get a feel if buying the software is worth it...
