This is the dumbest thing I have seen or heard of in a long time. You are now going to court of appeals to fight a fishing out of season ticket and you still think you can fight it by saying "equal rights", that person can do it, why can't I......and all of you are giving money for this.....this is the big push....shame on all of you. Does no one understand the court system. He is fighting a ticket and that is it, and that is all the court will hear on. This is not the right way, and I hope they take your fishing rights aways for life, and you have to pay the cost of the tax payers dollars to fight this stupid suit. It has nothing to do with what you want it to do, and the Judge has and will tell you so again.

Mille Lacs so unfair, why does no 1 ever complain about lower RED LAKE

Since the equality issues seems to be the theme on mille lacs lake, and is every year, even if the fishermen would have won the last supreme vote, Minnesotans would have lost a area of some 5% of Mille Lacs Lake to tribal only. Is that what everyone wanted?
So here is a question, why does no one ever complain about not being able to do anything on Lower Red Lake, and half of Upper Red Lake? To far away for the ones who complain about mille lacs regulations.

well im sorry, i don't complain when someone with a huge ranger 620 uses both landings at the same time or use 3-4 parking spots so there trailer doesnt get scratched, and i guess its my fault because the guy in the 620's 4 graphs cost more then my 16 foot boat. And these are people that live on the lake and are guides. They have a gloat to them that they believe they are better, so who cares about the dumb pictures, no they don't bother me, because I see it all year, every year from some of you on this board.

this should have been writen this way, the last sentence is in the wrong spot in the post. My mistake.

russ> IF you are going to quote me, quote my entire post just a part of it and then make your own arguement that had nothing to do with what i said, re read my last post, and tell me where i said i see people leave their truck and trailer in the water, like the pic, and leave it on the landing. So again, if you want to be smart or comment on my comment, dont twist it please. My way of words in my comment, you mistook them.

mnflyer> if you are referring to my post, this thread nor the pics on this thread were referring to the campfires, or drinking. You should read all of the comments including the first one before you unleash. People, even white people camp, or stay in a motor home and have little campfires at alot of the accesses all year long. They too are doing something illegal. And the next time your on I94 heading to Minneapolis, and you see a state patrol car parked on the side of the road with no one pulled over. Stop and tell him it is illegal and if he cannot start to move, you will call a tow truck.

there is another lane at that access, and as far as the boat sitting there. There is nothing wrong with that. Its during the day. That pic is not camping, how many times have you seen cars or trucks with a boat, or a RV at a landing parking lot. Im not crapping on this thread, but it is the truth. For all you know is the trailer had a wheel bearing out, or the persons trailer lights stopped working and left the boat. Sometimes there are fair reasons instead of just blasting off on how horrible this is. Come on, this whining of these two pics is just plain old a waste of everyones time. Did the picture taker at the time have his boat with and if so where are those pics. Im sure he was going out carp fishing right.

every year, this topic comes back. I live now on the Columbia River which boarders Washington and Oregon. They have the same issues with netting. It is everywhere, groups, singles, followers all talk and yet nothing gets done. Has anyone figured this out yet. It's called money. S. F. does not have enough to end this, how many of you have actually sent Steve money in his legal battle. How much so far, and if you tell me anything under $100,000, in the last two years even, I will laugh. Who has given money to these State Reps that are supposedly in the works. I'm sure you all have sent them some, right. You need money to fight this, and understand how the state leg. works, and how to properly fight in court. I will tell you the first solution, MONEY. Apparently Bud Grant didn't even spend enough. So until you all pony up, I have no sorrow for any of you. And for the first response that says, what have you done or spent then, here is your answer, I give my church a certain percentage of my wage, then my own bills, then I have joined two different groups here in the North West, spending my time out there on my own dime, pay member dues, and donate at monthly and yearly meetings.
The Association of Northwest StealHeaders, http://www.nwsteelheaders.org/ , and The Oregon Hunters Association, http://www.oregonhunters.org/ which protects the 50% of Oregon that is public land from being gated off or inaccessible because of lumber barons. These Organizations are just like you and your fight for rights, only difference, they have united not only with numbers of members, but with Money backing them. Membership dues, and donations at every meeting, volunteering and some very powerful and wealthy people who believe in the same principles. I'm not trying to discredit or undermine, but I don't even think a million man walleye march on the capital would do more than Money, find some people with real money and then start rolling this yarn ball that is getting bigger.

Reed's in Onamia, the person who posted earlier of a savings of $0 might have typed the wrong number or didnt ask a salesmen in detail. I bought a lazer mag with 10 inch auger there a few years ago during the week after walleye fishing closed and the price was already knocked down, and then i made a offer directly to the salesmen and he excepted it. The total savings were over $80, and im not talking about the MRSP price, that was after what they wanted for it on sale... I didnt think they would but it was by far the best deal i had ever found, even better then the Ice Show. It may have been a unusual circumstance, new models coming out, but give it a shot, and have a number in mind after taxes before you talk to a sales rep. Try Reeds
