Glenn, what has Trumps wife have to do as far as any negotiations in DC? Presidents wife's should be kept out of this. What she does has nothing to do with this issue. Check out Obama's wife's travels during his time in the White House. No complains then right? good luck

With the 5 billion plus Trump is asking for is just not for a wall. It is for a number of things needed including more border guards. I have two members of my extended family who are border guards down there. Those are the experts, not the stuffed establishment swamp dwellers in DC. The conditions are terrible there. Where walls are present it has stopped the crossing from the invaders. That's what they are. This term illegal immigration is a snowflake term. Immigration is a legal process. I am a legal immigrant. I along with my family came here from Germany in 1958. You had to have a sponsor back then. The sponsor was responsible for your housing and finding a job. We had that and became citizens the legal way. Nobody on our family ever recieved a penny from government.

Both my brother and I served in the military [US Army] and are both veterans. I say if you want to come into this great country you don't invade it, you do it the right way. I'm behind Trump 100%. good luck.

Sundi was there a week ago right before opener and he measured 14 inches. I think you have a great plan and I think you know what your doing because I would be doing the same thing. Parking on the ice by the large shallow flat is a good idea. Then like you said right off the drop off in that depth is a great spot for rainbows. I got my biggest brown in that depth on a tip up with a shiner fishing for pike while I was in my portable going after rainbows. We got cold coming up this week end so Ice will continue to form. Folks can look at my site below in the Where To Go page and I explain what to do on the Grind as far as what I do for first timers if they like. Don't think you will need it. Let us know how you do. I'm in the middle of buying another truck [looking] because my beast has seen better days and I don't trust it on a long drive. Should have one within a week or two but I will be there. good luck.

Yes Moose Hunter the landing was finally dredged. I called for a few years and bugged the guy in charge and they finally did the fall of 2017. They dredged from the left side of the dock out 4 feet deep [that's what he told me at the time]. however when you enter the lake part they had to stop because of "environmental reasons". So I would still tilt the motor up a bit anyway. I didn't have a problem with my 18.50 Crestliner with a 115 motor on it. The right side of the dock isn't touched as well for the same environmental reasons. Don't see what dredging out to deeper water would hurt. They took any dirt from the landing that was dredged out by truck. good luck.
