just bought the Helix 7 chirp g2 ice pack on sportsmans guide website. after tax and shipping $575. with the 10% discount and 15% off (max of $30 off) it turned out to be a solid deal.

I have the K-drill and it works great with my drill but I bought an old strikemaster so I can run n gun without worrying about the battery.

you do not need an adapter if you have a strikemaster head.
pull the foam piece on the k-drill down and you will see you can take the drill adapter portion out and it will fit an SM powerhead.

I have been out spearing in front of Macs twin bay. 7 to 8 inches in the small bay. Past the point gets a little sketchy with it varying from 3 to 5 inches. South bays had 5 inches a fee days ago but I didn't go out very far.

were you seeing any walleye while spearing?
