Hello All,
Is there any one in the Duluth Area that rents wheel houses? I have a couple of buddies that would like to head up around Red lake and Winne for a couple of days. we are looking to see if there is a house we can rent and travel with as we please. We have portables, but did not want to get tied down with renting with a resort. One of my buddies said that Gander Mountain used to have a couple, but they did not know what I was asking when I called them. If you know of something please let me know.

Thanks

Heading out to fish lake in the morning. Can someone help with what FOW they have been active in over the weekend? Just looking for a starting point.

Thanks for the help.

we had a group of us out there over the weekend. About 14" of ice, and good ice at that. Small cars and trucks are now moving around. Fishing was kind of slow. We did hit some crappies but not till close to dark. We were in 12-16 FOW. We did get quite of fish off the bottom, but nothing was eating. With the cold front it might take a few days to pick back up.

Made it out today, finally. There were alot of small fish, mainly perch. couple of real small crappies, but none the less it was good to be out. There was about 8 inches of ice. Very good ice as well. if all goes well should be out the next 2 days as well.

I just signed up for a bus trip to lake of the woods. It includes guide service and meals. It will be in the last part of Jan. There is still more spots on the trip if anyone would like to go. PM me for details.
This shoud be a great trip, and one that I have wanted to take for several years now.
