Fished Friday night 8pm- Sunday morning 8am. Did great. Caught 27 walleyes from 14.25-19.5". They bit at all hours. Lots of misses as well. All but 4 came on the rattle reels. Bigger minnows were better. I was 9 ft only 1/2 mile off shore. Wish I could make it up again before the season closes but probably won't happen.

I'm working on an ice castle , rv edition. Guy says right blinker not working.. Looked into a little bit today, doesn't seem I'm getting power from the plug in harness to the taillight . They have green and yellow wires both to left light, and brown and white to right. Scratching my head a little, but gonna dig into it more tomorrow. Anyone have similar issues? Or a possible resolution? Thanks !

Thinking about hitting leech for the first time this weekend. Have a smaller boat, anyone have any advice on where to start and if it's worth it? Thanks!

Anything happening up on the big pond? Never fished it in the fall, not much for reports it seems. Would think trolling some cranks or jig n minnow would be great? Any help would be great!

After moving to bemidji in May I'm still exploring all these area lakes, the options are unlimited. Went out on bemidji today from 3-630pm, I've kind of avoided it all summer and this was only my second time out there. That is going to change after today! Picked a random spot out a bit deeper and stayed away from anyone else. I did well, catching 20+ walleyes in 2 hours! A lot of smaller fish in the 10-13" range, but could of kept a handful of 14"s and the biggest was 18". Released all for next time! All fish caught jigging, and the bite petered after it was dark. Really excited to explore the structure out there! And hopefully run in to some of those talked about perch. Anyone else have anything to share from out there?

Never been to lake of the woods, and thinking about renting a day house this weekend. My dad is coming up and instead of sitting in the portable this weekend when it's supposed to be super cold, I thought maybe this would be an option. My question is, what's the closest resort from bemidji, and are they allowing vehicles out or do they shuttle you out? Also somewhere with decent service and hopefully a decent bite! I'm a newbie to lotw, never have drove past red! Thanks for any info!

I was wondering the same about this weekend. Have heard some outfitters are driving small trucks out already, but not allowing customers. Coming Friday and hoping to avoid a long walk out of beacon or hillmans. Awfully cold the next few nights, but we'll wait and see what happens.
