Really itching to try that this weekend. Can anybody share any info? Is the ice still safe for walking there? Where do people access the lake? Is there a spot to leave the car? Any smelt show up on the graph, would be nice to catch a couple of those tasty creatures! Thank you! Good luck out there!

The pipe thing worked. I ended up taking 3/4 pex pipe, it was a bit small to fit on to the Clam shaft, so I put it in the boiling water for a minute and then forced it onto the shaft. Super tight, have not tried to drill yet but feels solid. Thanks for your advice, guys!

maybe wrap the smaller shaft with sheet metal to take up space. Basically a shim.

I was thinking about that, I have plenty of coil stock, but I don't think it will wrap around 11/16 diameter shaft nicely without kinks. But will try if won't find other solutions.

I have finally purchased Clam Plate hoping to have universal auger for all situations. I have 4! other augers and was hoping that I could be able to use those on the Clam Plate but it did not happen. I have 2 Mora hand augers, Strikemaster Lazer gas powered older model, and Strikemaster Lazer battery powered older model also. So the diameter of the build-in adapter on Clam Plate is 11/16" and inner diameter on the auger bits I have is 7/8". So they fit but they are loose big time. Has anyone ran into this issue? Can anyone think about a not expensive solution? I just do not want to spend another $80 for the 5th! auger bit. It would've been easier if I had a metal shop access, unfortunately, I do not have access to equipment like that. And I bet if I order a custom adapter like that from the shop it would cost around $80 also due to the amount of time it would take.
Any ideas?

I usually know how the promo codes work, but on this website you can not use a promo code, there is simply no window where you can put a promo code in.

Yes, guys, please, give us the idea how bad it is there now. I also wanted to get on the pond, but I am not sure if 1/2 ton pickup with average tires can do it. Any information greatly appreciated!

Posting this for my buddy. He took the dog for his kids but they lost interest, and pretty much no one raise or train the dog. Plus the spaniel and a cat do not get along. Other than that he is a super friendly and energetic dog. Hunter is 18 months old, vaccination has been done. Let me know if you would be interested and I will hook you up with the owner, he lives in Prior Lake.

Hey, Dew, I have sent you a bunch of messages, did you have a chance to check your PM's recently? I wonder if you still want to sell that motor you have?

I also go there on July 7th weekend and also wanted to ask about fishing. I'm not going to have a boat there. Do you think the shore fishing can be effective this time of year? What kind of gear? Casting spoons or spinners, or bottom fishing with the heavy sinker?
