fished there Friday and Sat went on stump Fri. west side got on no problem was able to drill with out and extension but just barely take an extension along tried six mile on Sat same thing ended up back on Stump not a bite didn't mark a fish all day auger quit working so had to come home Sunday morning but that's ok the wind was brutal about -25 windchill hope you guys have better luck I ended up with 4 w and 1 p
overall ice is 30"+give or take also remember to take ice cleats I thought I had them and didn't but found a scrape pair that where broke in my sled so I was able to make a go of it but they where still not very good/safe make sure you have a real good pair or 2 along its very slippery after you drill and the water comes out on the ice

I had the LX6s bought it late last yr in Feb. really liked it but it was small and hard to see for me in the sunlight so I sold it and bought the LX7 only been out twice but I like it so far but do miss the smaller size for hole hopping as the 7 isn't balanced very well when hole hopping

was at Reeds today up in Walker and asked them about this problem they have not heard anything about this but i had the guy say that you need to turn up the target adjustment for smaller jigs i told him I was using the same info I got off the internet last yr for my LX6s and I followed that to the T and was dialed in nothing flat and that the same settings where not working for the LX7 and if it could be the up graded soft ware he said adjust the target setting so I had him show me the first thing he did was go into the menu settings and put it in Ice fishing mode from simulator mode then went to target adjust he said that would help show the jig better so when I got home I checked mine and I was not in the ice fishing mode on mine so I know that was part of my problem and I adjusted the target so now I need to get out and try that hope this helps CardGUY
my sheet says 0 for the IR ping rate 1 target 0 sensitivity start low then work up until you get a bottom and your jig also depth -manual or dynamic manual

sounds like the 2-3 little holes that I talked about that are located in front by the butterfly are plugged up although they changed the fuel line there is/was still junk in the tank unless you have an inline filter dump your gas out but strain it through a piece of white cloth or paper towel see what that looks like if its dirty then you know your carb is plugged up with dirt also if you ever check when dumping the 2 stroke oil in it has bits of chunks as well and not all of them break down hope this helps

yes did you clean out the 2-3 little tiny holes by the butterfly they are located towards the back very hard to see I use a wire from a steel brush to poke in and clean the holes out

mimbach fleet will have the kit you will also need to look at the little plastic fitting where the gas goes into the carb they crack as well causing gas to leak or extra air is a $2 part pressed on
