Glue it down and let it set before screwing the catch covers down.

The benchmark is the Honda. Everybody wants to compare to the Honda. For the gamble I would go Honda all day long. I've ran my EX1000 since 1994. Only problem I had was a broken recoil rope. If it ever dies another Honda will take its place. strictly my opinion.

This type of heater is a radiant heater. It heats objects, not the air so much. Kind of like the sun heats the earth.

Use a thermostat that has its own batteries to operate, it only needs power for the display.

My Honda 1000 has not skipped a beat since it was brand new in 1993. Change the oil and add gas. It serves me well in my wheel house but also is used for work. Do the math because some cant get by with 1000 watts.

Is your hook sharp ? makes a big difference for me. I was also taught to widen the hook gap when having problems with a hook set.

I have a 6 foot wide home built and would really like an 8' wide salem. Ive looked at all of them and everybody is building quality houses. Lots of learned lessons. A guy has to think about the pounding they take going down the road. The roads get really rough this time of year. I think that has created alot of problems people are telling us about.

The flame rod carries a small electric current through the flame to ground. This assures that there is flame and it keeps burning.
