The fact is that Sylvia(both east and west) and John are already listed by the DNR as infested waters for Eurasian milfoil and zebra mussels.

My question is why are they sending everyone to the inspection station in town BEFORE they go onto the infested lakes and not AFTER ? If this was really about stopping the spread of invasive species wouldn't they be better served to decontaminate the boats after being on infested waters?

That is why I see this as a "stay off of my lake" ordinance that was influenced by money and politics vs true conservation concern

The VX 1 is a great entry flasher but I would spend the extra money and get the LX-3. You will not regret having the ability to use the Marcum adjustable zoom. I rarely fish in regular mode

I have fished out of a cabin for the last 5 years or so. It is easier to load/unload and pull than the Lodge on solo trips. As said earlier you can fish 2 people but the size of the people will determine how cramped you are. If you got 2 guys with all the gear and both are 6' + and over 225 it is time to get cozy! You can fish 2 holes per person you just need to stagger and space the holes right to get a big buddy in front an the fish bucket needs to be in the tub or outside.

I love my Otter Cabin and rather than upsizing I did by a pop up for when I have extra people with or need more space. It fits easily in the tub.
