By the looks of it I wouldn't be surprised if today is the official ice out date!

Thanks. Yes I've been watching these webcams daily. I talked to a friend at Brindley's Resort yesterday and he says 50/50 chance for opener. But on a positive note he also said a lot has changed just in the past two days. If he would've been asked last week he would've said no way.

The view from Lyback's is grim. Take a look at Red Door and Appledorn's webcam. Looks a lot different. I still believe there's a chance we'll see open water. It can happen real quick assuming we get some rain and wind which are both in the forecast for early next week. Keep fingers crossed!!

I have a good feeling that there will be open water this opener. Lots of 60's in the forecast. The sun should chew through the ice pretty quick. I'm trying to be optimistic here!

Any chance we'll be open water fishing on Leech this opener? Imo it looks like a repeat of 2013. Boy I hope I'm wrong!

The only difference is seldom does cub run bnls ribeyes and strips on special. 90% of the time it's a bone in steak on special. 50% off those products is a bargain. In fact I know they are losing $. I'm a meat dept. manager for Cub. Reinhard keep up the advertisement!

I'll tell ya I can't figure this lake out. I fished hard from 4pm till 9pm last night and managed a northern, tons of perch abd some largemouth. I worked weed edges, and humps. I'm about to throw in the towel out there. I don't know what I'm doing wrong?

I'm headed out late this afternoon, probably around Wayzata Bay area. Can anyone give me some tips? I've haven't had much success for walleyes out there, but I've only fished it during the middle of the day. Any depths working better during daylight hours? I'm assuming shallower during lowlight periods? Any help is appreciated!

I'm headed to Bug Bee Hive Resort the last weekend of May, and have never fished Koronis. I'm not looking for particular spots just some pointers. I would like to find some crappies and walleye. Any ideas what depths I should target?
