Thanks for the Info Reinhard. Its Def. Not a secret that Fish has 8,000k people in front of the dam Every year all winter long. I was out Sat. & drove by and she was packed like normal. It does appear that Hi Banks has the road plowed out now according to their FB Page.

The Cascade always has a good pink run. Just walk down from 61, very easy access.

Well since Walleye season is closed you can only fish for pannies. LOL Dont need an extension unless you just dont want to bend over so far. High banks is more than helpful if you call and talk to them. Kim & Rick are the best. When you get up there theyll let you know depths, ect to be trying. There are always people renting from them so they know exactly whats up out there.

My advice would be to not fish on the lakes around Duluth in the winter AKA: Pike, Grand, Fish, Caribou with all the people, find some smaller lakes around the area like DLD mentioned. If you do decide to fish the close lakes just get away from people & all the noise.

Island not a chance & its super low right now, Rice the Landing was open but solid out on the Lake. Boulder was still pretty solid as well as very low water levels yesterday.

You can go onto the DNR Lakefinder & research area lakes. There are a few that have decent Panfish, Its just a matter of getting to them now. Lots of Slush & snow on the Lakes still.

I was under the impression that 10,000 people fishing out there keeping every walleye they catch was the reason for the slot limit. LOL I do agree theres a ton of Carp. Sounds like a bunch of people Need to do some Bowfishing this spring....
