Took about half the day and a case of beer 😃 between me and a few buddies. Chain saw 3 ton jack and an auger did the trick!

I have a permanent fish house and for some reason this year it's frozen in solid half way up the 4x4 skids. I blocked it up on 2x4's the same way I have for years but something went different this year.... anyway anyone have any suggestions on how to get the skids broke free from solid ice???? I have left the heat on high inside over night and the are liquid but the outside is SOLID!!! Any help or suggestions are much appreciated!

I know this will sound very strange but (2) 2 litres of Coke bath for the dogs works great also and is a cheap fix! Pour it all over your dog like you would soap and rub it in as much as possible....leave it on as long as you can then just give the dog a normal bath after to make sure you don't have a sticky fur ball running around. I have tried a million different things and nothing seems to work as good as this! Don't get me wrong, if you go up to your dog and put your nose right to them you will still be able to get a sent of that damn skunk but it kills the odor way better than the dawn peroxide bath I tried before this trick. I learned it from some hunting buddies that ALWAYS keep liters of coke with them on hunting trips.

I took a gamble on the Champion 3500 just because the cost was so much cheaper than the Honda. I have used it for 2 years now with ZERO problems or issues. I use it for my Ice Castle and run it constantly while out on the ice. I feel its VERY GOOD on gas and is just as quiet on the eco mode although if your getting a 3500 your probably not using eco very often. Running non-stop 24 hours with a load on it and not running in the eco I use about 2-3 gallons of gas a day. I also have a Honda 1000 so I have nothing bad to say about Honda...they are GREAT! If cost is a factor for you then Champion is a good choice!

Not sure if the Garmin has an equivalent to Auto Chart Live, but I think that would be an AWESOME feature to have for some of our local little lakes ;)

I second the Venom Floats! They are amazing and stay lit a really long time! Make sure you get a UV flashlight otherwise anything is worthless
