You can also have them officially scored at the MN Deer classic, but this isn't until next march. If you go on Boob/crocket web page their is a list of official scorers for each state, but take not they do not keep the list up to date and you will have to go through many names before you get someone to reply to you.

We always hear the word "Co-managed" when it comes to the dnr and Mille Lacs, just how much financial burden is the natives sharing in this?? I do understand that GLIFWC is an organization that is funded by the U.S. gov't but how come we never hear of any studies that the natives have done or anything to better the lake??

I do know from experience you do not want to call the Craig's list adds that people have pigeons for sale unless they specifically state for dog training, for some reason people get all sorts of irate when you want to buy their homing pigeons for this.

We will be heady up Rainy/Voyaguers in a couple weeks, since we will be camping I am thinking about trying to figure out how to take some minnows with. Has anyone ever done a cure that will last for several days in an ice chest?

I think you have to reserve camp sites prior to your arrival. I would do it now as the popular spots go fast. Go to the park web site all the info will be there.

We reserved ours on the first day we were able to, I think you can only get then 6mos. in advance or something like that.

I was a the boat launch yesterday and seen a guy put his boat in then send it out to open water with his remote for his trolling motor and then set it on anchor, after telling the guys at work about how slick it worked one of the guys told me that it is illegal.
Has anyone ever heard this also?? I tried to find a law pertaining to it in the boating manual and couldn’t find anything.

My wife and I are planning our first ever adventure to Voyaguers for the early part of June (9th till we get sick of each other ), we will be going through the Brule narrows and camping at one of the first sites once you get into Saginaw Bay. As a noobie to fishing up there would you bring a variety of bait, like crawlers, leeches and minnows or would you use just one, Is most of the fish caught with jig or is slip bobber a viable way to catch them, and has anyone ever got into crappies around this area??
