Pretty common for those to leak as mentioned unburned oil/gas.
If you aren't already, run some amsoil sabre at 80:1. It will run smoother and drip less oil also.

The 40 v turns slightly slower than the gas powered models, but it still uses the same twin shaver blade auger bit as the lazer mag & pro. The chipper bit with the a single blade is always gonna be better for reopening, but it you take your time you can reopen with the twin blade auger.

Wondering if any strikemaster 40v users with the lazer blade have been reopening holes with it and if it does a good job. A dealer told me the lazer blades struggle when reopening holes but are the fastest cutting blades when drilling new holes.

The hand held market is not being pushed. Our phones are way more powerful, but nobody wants to release a detailed app with the same functionality as a display unit because then they won't sell as many screens I'm guessing. Navionics is ok on some lakes, but for most it is still horribly inaccurate, waypoint management is lacking, no trail recording, poor navigation features etc. Still hard to beat a multi-function display. I have been running my elite 7 with a lowrance promaps chip on a ram mount that will go mount in my truck and on my sled and wheeler.

Plenty of hp for most situations. Now if you going to put a family of six in there, better have the right prop. Max HP rated at 200?

If you are soaking some shiners or small suckers near a break you should catch some fish. Bait is starting to get scarce so I would secure it before you get up there. Jigging may be touchy.

Lil weber is what I bring portable fishing but that is just for two or three. If I was buying for a wheel house it would be the table top model regular sized weber.
