I currently have carlisle's radials that look like marathon's on my 1875 Pro V. It's been to Canada three times and lots of other towing miles and they are wearing perfectly. I also put Carlisle's radials on my sled trailer two years ago and they have been great. Getting the correct load rating is KEY!

Peanut is premier. I usually just use vegetable oil. Temp management is key. I like to drop in at 375 and maintain as close to 350 as possible.

It was a great time! Fortunately that is not one of our props and neither was the power shaft that was 30 feet past the prop...
They must of taken out the whole lower unit, the water hasn't been as low as it is since the late 90's.

Our crew enjoyed another great trip to the English river out of Grassy narrows Ontario last week. Gmeabrake was able to jump in late and join our regular crew as well. We had calm and hot sunny conditions for all but our last day of fishing, but we still caught a pile of fish. Water levels were the lowest I have seen up there in my history so we stuck to the current areas for the most part. We caught fish from 3-25 feet of water on jigs and spinners and bottom bouncers with most coming from 9-19 feet. Our big fish were a 28.25" walleye, 39" pike, 19.75" smallie. These pictures will give a glimpse of why we all look forward to this trip all year and can't wait to go back!

I haven't been by there this year, but it is right off 24 on the north side right where the highway is right up to the lake.

It's a required inspection. You don't have to have it decontaminated(hot water wash) unless you want to OR they deem you need to. If it's clean with no visual presence of issues you are supposed to get your tag and sent on your way. For the record I think the program is completely backwards. Other states require decontamination after use in infected lakes not before.
