That is exactly what a lot of us want to know. Right now there aren't any stated. Out of one side of their mouth they claim this is to test the effectiveness of a regional inspection station versus at each specific lake, out of the other it is to prevent the spread of invasive's. The current design does almost nothing to prevent the spread of invasive species because there are no exit inspections or decon's from lakes already deemed infested except for Pleasant. Also, the current decon protocol of the hot water wash does not prevent the spread of starry stonewart which is present in Sylvia/Twin.

According to the video of the wright county board meeting where it was approved the DNR approved a pilot trial for the rest of 2017 for the three lakes(Sylvia, John, Pleasant). They have to reapply with a plan for 2018. My observations are they have a lot of things to figure out yet. The DNR removed themselves from enforcing the wright ordinance. In watching the video the sheriffs dept wasn't excited about having to enforce it. Also they have to figure out how to satisfy the benchmark of time spent for inspections suggested by the DNR.

Was up there once shortly after labor day one year, but we never found any numbers, just one here and there in the tug channel and north of it. Very cool area, it's a fun run thru the tug channel and the french narrows.
