Last weekend I was seeing water temps around 72 degrees. Give or take a couple degrees.

Good to know! I should probably mention that I'm located in the Zimmerman area.

I currently have a Marcum LX3 and I really like it, but I'm thinking about upgrading to a newer unit. I'm curious on what people's personal opinions or experiences are regarding the Marcum LX5, LX6, or LX7.

Smallmouth fishing ended up being pretty slow, so I decided to troll leadcore on some deep gravel for walleyes and that ended up producing pretty well for us.

How's the smallmouth bite been? I'm thinking about heading up there this weekend to give it a shot!
