I got the baffin impacts .....real tree I first liked the snow camo but then realized how fast boots get dirty.

Muck boots r great for sitting in a shelter or walking but I'm interested in a outside on the ice or deer stand all day.i ordered a the baffin after sizing them at a big box sports store.saved 60 clams ordering from the web

Oh no with reports of 4to5 the masses are bound to head north.....careful on the ice!Atleast you won't need the xtra weight of an extension in your bag of tricks yet!Happy catchin!c63

Looking at new boots............Sorel blizzard xt,Lacross Ice kings and several models of Baffin..never had Baffins but heard good things about them.Seems harder and harder these days to get QUALITY foot wear.Will pay higher price for good stuff still hard to find.Any or all comments welcome!!!!!!Happy winterin'c63

Yep agreed.........jumbos (in decent numbers anyway)are very hard to come by.The Tullibees have been A LOT bigger and better the last 3 years!!!I like pickled Tullies but I can't eat em everyday!!!!!Good luck to all on Millelacs this winter season!!!!!!!!!Come on cold.I see teens this next week won't be long now!!!!!!!c63

Im afraid the genie is out of the bottle and everyone(lake shore owners)across the state are going to start trying this too.Im not sure how to combat these people but I do commend you for being active in your efforts!!!!!!I know some folks on Twin/Sylvia and not all are selfish want to have the lake to themselves.Some truly are concerned about AIS and property values.This type of inspection "program"is going to keep folks away.The commerce was already down in Annandale and the surrounding area(s).Remember that this is a pilot program that has to be reviewed before being renewed.(I know insert sarcasm...wink,wink.....).As long as there is a public launch on the lake you will be able to launch.(Granted you may have to jump through some hoops) but you still will be able to recreate there.c63
