Get the Yamaha or Suzuki.

there probably won't be much of an upgrade from your current motor to either the E-tech or merc.

Thanks for the report. Quick question for you. I'm newer to the area and fished Prior for the first last Saturday before the game. Was kinda slow but had a good time. My questions is there a night bite on Prior? We had to leave around sunset to get back to watch the game but wondering what time of day you've had best luck there. Thanks.

Do they allow any types of protesters at the netting sites? It is at the public landings correct? What is stopping non-netters from parking the trucks and traillers at the landings to take up the spots during the netting.

The amount of backlash from this is appalling. It was a wild bear, and if I have my info correct, it was not even a DNR collar, it was Lynn Roger's collar, not lynn's bear, but his collar. What right does he have to do this to the bears??? As long as it is in the name of research it is OK??? What kind of conslusions will his research yield? I would like to know what type of useful info his "EXPENSIVE" research has come up with so far. All you hear is some BS about how his research will help Humans and bears coexist. I would like to see some actual facts and data. It is like a fisherman going out to ML and putting a bunch of tags in fish and then asking all fisherman not to harm them.

It is really sad when you look at the papers and you see people against this hunter and for this nut job Lynn Rogers. If anyone has any info or proof of any good that Lynn Rogers has ever produced from his research please post it.

Steve, -- Where are your "facts" coming from. You make this claim to have caught all of these fish in the dead sea years, but is there proof other than you tooting your own horn about how many fish you caught back in the dead sea days. Fish stories tend to become embellished over the years. I am 100% against the netting of Mille Lacs, but I also think there has been an extra amount of claiming how bad the fsihing has been this year just so it can be blamed on the netting.

This isn't the first time that if someone disagrees with you they are considered "close minded".

Stoogen,

I have often wondered how these types of posts and attention effects the local guides and resorts in the area. Thanks for bringing that to everyones attention.

Just playing a little devil's advocate here.... How can you claim that they are a top product if they aren't available and you do not have any yet. It is becoming more and more the norm on this website that if someone is really pushing something it is likely that you will see they are sponsored by it in their signature.

I am glad that you found a place that you like. I did not mean to bash it, but I personally would throw it in the middle of the pack up there. There are some better and some worse. I have stayed there and I am pretty sure I won't be staying there again. In all honesty though when you head up to baudette you could probably stay in your truck at the launch and still have a great time.

Sportsmans is ok, but far from the best place to stay up there. But as a sponsor they get the endorsement from every Staffer. I would be dissapointed upon arrival if I had never been there and just read the raves on this website and decided to book at trip.
