Checked my house on Waconia yesterday and it was a good thing I did. I had a whirlpool going down one of my holes that was enlarging quickly. I moved it to an area with no water water, blocked it and left it. Of course I did NOT drill any holes:)

Glad to hear the top froze this morning before the wind kicks up. I dont want to drill again until Thursday. All should be frozen and lake should have made more "good" ice by then.

I like the glow. Especially if you have kids who get up at night.

My son is fortunate enough to be participating in the Drive Chip and Putt Nationals at The Masters this year and we are going to spend the week prior in Southern Georgia Jekyll/Sea Island area. Does anyone have any fishing suggestions for last week in March for us? My kids are 9, 12 and 15.
Thanks you for any help!

Looking to save on battery and not blow out wet hole lights. What have you found for good replacements for your incandescent bulbs?

I also like it in the V for the best use of space. When pulling on road i do place some tape over the lock to keep ice and dirt out of it.

I like using the regular Thermal tip up on a 10" hole and carefully packing snow insulation around it.

Gander has Fenwick AETOS at $79. Normally $179-$199. Plus $20 off if you spend $100.
It's a great upper Mid range Rod prices at lower range now. I bought two more for $150 less the $20 = $130 for two great sticks.
Excited to get my kids their first decent rod at a fair price!
