I love the site, I was on my navionics last night looking for close lakes ( I live in cloquet ), and found grindstone. After hours of trying to call baitshops and dnt to find out the ice thickness, all I had to do was go on this website. I'll be fishing there this Saturday, was wondering were do I launch from the dnt website says there's a dnt access on the nw side of the lake. Any advice or anything would be great, I'm taking my son out fishing for trout also so I don't wanna ruin his day and get skunked. The U.S. in advance

Hi fellow fisherman, got a quick question, me and some buddies are heading up to LOTW Aug 24th for my birthday trip and need to find out if we can camp out on the islands? I called the dnr of the area multiple times with no answer, can we pitch a tent on pine island or any of the islands on the lake. Thanks in advance for the responses

First and foremost any and all help is appreciated. (Read the forums for a little advise also but just want the best chances of not wasting our precious time we have up there)
So me and a couple work buddies are heading up to red lake early Saturday morning like 2-3am with potables and staying till dark on friday, haven't planned on were we are going out of. Any help on best access and areas, or any kinda advise would definitely be used. Thanks in advance keep them lines tight!!!

I heard there's like 5 inches on the harbor but it would be nice to know from someone who has been out there. Looking to get out there this weekend
