Nice work guys! Anyone willing to point me in the direction of an access or bay for this weekend to drive out with the wheelhouse? I don't need your honey hole, just a safe place to access the lake. I want to put my brother in law on some fish for his birthday this weekend, but have almost no experience on Lake Minnetonka. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Anyone have a recent ice report for Osakis? Not much reported in the Ice Report app. Thinking about coming up this weekend with the diesel and tandem axel wheel house.

I got out on Big Marine last week on one of the days the wind was really howling. Got some really tiny perch and a few small bluegills. Very tough bite overall, did not mark many fish. Tried depths from 9-23 fow in several different spots on the lake. I have had little success in the winter out there, but the decent open water fishing keeps me coming back to try.

I checked the ice from the Sand Point beach Sunday afternoon on Prior. Just dropped the spud on the ice and it went right through. Found less than an inch of ice all along the beach. This cold should be penetrating the snow, but it's going to take some time.

Fished Carl's Lake from 3:00-8:00pm on Sunday. Fished 2'-16' and didn't get a bite. Wind was pretty terrible out there. Still fun to be on the water!

Yes, Nitti's had a road out to the flats weekend. I did not travel on it, but was on their other two roads. Both were in great shape. There was one bridge to cross on their north road. Fishing was better in 26' than in 28'.

Nice work! What were you measuring for ice thickness?

Thinking about bringing the wheelhouse up for the weekend to do some fishing. Any depths that have been better than others? Haven't been up since December, when we were walking out.

Fished Waconia Saturday afternoon-Sunday morning.

The panfish bite was nonstop Saturday afternoon setting up with the mass of fisherman in 14 FOW. Of the 200+ fish caught in our group, 4 were deemed keepers. Lots of tiny fish caught. Fun, but was hoping 1 in 10 would be bigger.

Moved away from the crowds and set up on a reef for what we hoped would be a walleye bite in the evening. Little perch before dark and then a couple light bites after dark, but no walleyes caught. Lots of small perch the next morning before we packed up.

Fun weekend with awesome weather and lots of fish, but nothing of size to photograph.

Drove on at In Towne Marina, thanks for the tip. Nice access and cheap. $2.

I am planning on fishing Waconia in my wheelhouse this weekend. What are my options for accessing the lake? I see a previous poster mentioned In Towne Marina. I have never fished Waconia through the ice. Thanks!
