Yeah, the Ken Onion is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. I'm gonna go with that one. Still doing some research on all the knives recommended.

Hey everyone!

This has probably been posted before but thought I'd try again. Looking for recommendations for a good quality fillet knife for my dad. He's against the electric knife. He typically uses a cheap Rapala knife but I think he would really benefit from a good quality steel knife. Looking for any recommendations (no matter the price). Also trying to find a good and easy knife sharpener other then a whetstone. (He's kinda stubborn and any kind of easy knife sharpening system that doesn't ruin the blade would be perfect). Thanks in advance!

Anyone every walk out of Shah Bush Hung Bay landing? Looks like there might be some Rock to Mud transitions within a decent walking distance. I also do not have a wheeler or sled so I'm looking for easy points to walk to. Any help would be appreciated.

Huh. I checked both sides in that exact spot and no fitting for it. I guess I have an older one or something. Thanks for the info anyway!

I bought a 12' hose with regulator and 3/8 quick connect for my big buddy. Got home and found out my big buddy doesn't have the quick connect fitting at all to connect it. Am I looking in the wrong place or could this possibly be an older model that just doesn't have the quick connect fitting?

Also, any know of any adapter I can buy so my hose is compatible with my big buddy?

Looking to get out on any of the lakes for some crappie. Anyone able to point me in a general direction? Serpant Lake Worth a shot? Otherwise, I'm thinking Mudd lake or Pery Lake as alternatives. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Looking to try out Bay Lake near Deerwood this weekend. Any tips or recommendations? Is it worth stopping to fish for? We'd be walking so any easy access points other then the public access would be really helpful. Targeting crappie and/or eyes. Really just looking to get out on any lake in that area that has safe ice. Any info helps.
