I've seen plenty of wolves in the ogilvie/milaca area. I find it highly skeptical that were being over run by hybrids or any sort of wolf or coyote. Just because you see one while your hunting doesn't mean were over run.

Made it out again today and only caught 1 walleye about 16 inches. One of these days it's gotta pick up. It's awesome being back in the boat though and them walleyes tasted delicious!

Made it out yesterday and fished from about 8 till 430. Very slow. Managed to get 2 walleyes in the boat and lost a couple more. Bigger one was 20 smaller was 17. Everyone I talked to was the same or worse for number of fish.gonna head back out tomorow and try again.

Nobody took the spot and after looking at the weather forecast yesterday to today I decided to get a late start and go out yesterday. Got their at 1 and fished from up river from everts to the dam. Super slow and didn't get any in the boat. Lost 2 and missed a few. Only saw 1 fish caught the whole time. Stayed till 730. Gonna head back down next week sometime during the week and the. Saturday. Hopefully fishing picks up soon.

Just looking for some tips on sturgeon fishing the rainy river. Heading up April 13, 14, 15th. You think ice will be gone by then? Was thinking about going out of birchdale but would it be better to go more towards the lake and gap? Gonna mostly sturgeon fish and maybe try for some walleyes but mostly sturgeon. I have only been up their once before and that was with someone experienced so any help is appreciated!

Eagle is by far the better choice. Lots of little c4appies everywhere and you have a good chance of hooking into some pike. Lots of Muskies to.
