Eagle is by far the better choice. Lots of little c4appies everywhere and you have a good chance of hooking into some pike. Lots of Muskies to.

I think it's just this cold front that came in. Before yesterday the bite was hot. Cold front came in and they shut down. I marked a bunch all day that came up stared at the jig or deadstick for a while and went back down.

Monday I was using just a silver buckshot for jigg8ng and a yellow and white jig on my deadstick. Was out today same spot and had a b7nch of lookers but only a few that actually hit. Cold front has made em turn off the feed bags. Gonna try again t omorow and see if I can't find another hot spot.

I can't seem to find any info on special regulations for this lake. For trout lakes can't you only use 1 line and can't use minnows? But I see people saying they use minnows and more then one line on grindstone... and yeah I'll be cautiously using a snowmobile out their.

I'm referring to the crappies being pigs... as in big and fat. Their hard to find though. So much structure and areas they could be anywhere... It's definitely a tough lake to figure out

I've had luck for crappies on the north west side of the big island in years past. Caught em in 50 fow suspended at 30. If you can find the crappies usually you'll get some pigs.

Took the snowmobile out and hit some gravel flats. Warm weather turned em on. Got roughly 20 in the past 3 hours. Ranging from 16 inches to 26. Fishing 25fow
