Has anyone been out on the lakes yes? Last I heard Big Sand and Clam were iced over but have not heard of anyone going out.

Has anyone been out yet on the lakes? Wondering how much ice is out there if it is safe for foot traffic.

Thanks for the info. I go out on Big Sand Lake mostly for Crappies. Will look forward to hear the reports on how all of you do up there.

Now that the weather is warmer I was thinking of going out this weekend. Has anyone been fishing near Siren lately? Wondering about Ice depths and if there has been any action. I am not looking for spots just a report.

Update from the past weekend. Didnt make it out to yellow last weekend but did fish Big Sand hard. Fishing was tough with a lot of crappies looking but not biting. My best success came between 4-630, early in the evening at 9-11 ft and moving to 15-17ft after sunset. Found only about 7 keepers, but also had a bunch of smaller fish. Lots of people on the lake about 30 shacks, also about 18inch of ice with lots of trucks out on the ice.

Good luck,
