Can't believe they set up an arms length away, or maybe I can.
Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes, well, he eats you. I'm glad you didn't use any cuss words, Dude.

Thanks for the report. Was out there last weekend, total zoo too.

Every year seems a little different out there. We got one 20" beauty rainbow opening morning, and then a few other smaller fish. I've seen some years where they're fast and furious and the average stocked size is that 13" to 14" range. Average size seemed much smaller this year. I noticed them much more spooky too. The water was super clear this years to other years for whatever reason so that May have had something to do with it too.

I was out hunting last couple days in west central MN. Birds are definitely bunched up and holding pretty good with this new snow...quite a bit more snow(10" range with deeper drifts) than back in the west metro area..some areas even made for tough walking...found most of my bird on cattail edges and in cattail edges/downed timber, brush areas where the DNR did quite a bit of cutting last Fall. All public. Love hunting late season only worry is with the amount of really young birds I saw in October..they probably didn't fair too well with this snow and below 0 lows now.
