Yesterday the river is open 7.1 miles east of Birchdale landing. Open water ended at the Manitou Rapids.

After doing some more searching I think I found what I was looking for Hardkor Outdoors in MN makes them and they are magnetic vs snap on. They're made with earth magnetic and color matching strike plates, waterproof canvas and waterproof thermal insulation with a satin back.

Just wondering where you can get wheel skirts for wheel houses? Not sure if you have to have people custom make them or if an outfit specializes in them have a tandom axle house. Located in MN

You can stream Dish/Direct TV through a firestick? Never heard of that now that would save a lot of hassle. I have both and never thought to even try. Do you have to get a certain app on firestick and any tricks to going that route?

Big pressure change from Saturday to Sunday didn't help most. 2 of us had our limit by 1:30 but fished until 3 trying to find a big one. 25ft of water with jigging stick doing most of the catching ended a couple sauger short but nothing under 15 inches with most 16-19. As many know people who catch fish are on the move going places other people aren't and not telling many people otherwise it's just as crowded as your typical locations.

Depends if your in the river obviously a lot more current there using 3/4 to ounce depending on how well you like to feel bottom. Lake anywhere from 3/8 to half ounce depending on wind.

Water temp has cooled and the last 5-7 days have slowed down, however, it should be warming up again with the temps yesterday and today and fishing should be lights out again. Was up couple weekends ago went out onto lake one day caught fish but had to sort. River next day 3 people filled out in hour and a half with live shiner and jig with a spinning blade in 15-20ft of water. Water is also a little dirty at the moment so that isn't helping.
