Ya i dont mind them, fry them up in some campfire classic or shorelunch i think there pretty good. nothing compared to walleye but there good. Ya my last 4 outings on island have kinds been disappointing. Although the ones we have been catching have been around 15 inches but its pretty slow. Try deeper water next time, i have been getting them in 25 to 30 fow. can you post some pics for me?

I went up to my dads and step moms cabin this past weekend. I have always been too busy with work and hockey to really fish this lake but since my hockey days are over i have a little more time on my hands. I went out sunday morning from 5 to 830 and managed to get 13 largemouth. I kept my limit. All fish i kept were between 18.5 and 17 inches. I let two larger ones go also. Most fish came on a topwater lure and a few came on a bass jig, as i saw some bass on their nests and pitched a jig in there. That always seems to work. I have pics if someone wants to post them for me i cant figure it out haha.

We usually get a few each summer but before yesterday we never really got anything over 5 pounds. Our biggest was around 13.
