The Bemidji/Cass Lake Chapter 46 Muskies Inc tournament will be held on Saturday June 20th. This is a fully CPR tournament (catch/photo/release). We'll have thousands of dollars in prizes/guide trips to give away via raffle at the tournament awards/feed at the end of the tournament. If you've never been to one of our tournaments they are a great time, family friendly and fishing is allowed on 5 of the best muskie lakes in all of MN. Lakes Bemidji, Plantagenet, Cass, Big, and Mantrap are all tournament waters. Fishing begins at 5am and goes until 4pm with the feed/awards beginning at 5pm.

Entry fees are only $50 for adults and $30 for juniors (under 18) We have ONLINE tournament registration and payment. There are cash prizes for 1st-4th place and also for the biggest fish for both adults and juniors. We proudly donate a scholarship to the Aquatic Biology program at Bemidji State University each year with tournament proceeds. This year’s minimum scholarship donation will be $1000, with that amount increased by funds generated through our “Chapter Challenge” feature. The after tournament feed is put on by the area Boy Scout chapter. Registration is still open. You can register by mail or at the following location locally (in addition to the online registration).

Gander Mountain (in Bemidji)
Thursday June 18th and Friday June 19th from 5-8pm at Gander Mountain. These are the only times/locations for local registration.

Mail in registration, Tournament Rules and details can be viewed/printed off the chapters website listed below.

www.bemidjicassmuskies.org – click on the Tournament Info button on the left.

In addition to tons of local sponsors, we have lots of Muskie businesses who've contributed to this year's event.

We would love to see you there!

Hey everyone! The Bemidji/Cass Lake Chapter of Muskies Inc is hosting our annual Lure Auction and Awards night next Saturday March 14th, and you are all invited!

This is THE event you don't want to miss! Open to the public! Bring a friend or 20! We will be holding the event in the lower level of Keg N Cork in Bemidji starting at 5:00. We will have some awards and announcements from 5-5:30 while giving everyone the opportunity to see what lures they can't live without before the bidding starts!

All the lures and equipment auctioned off are donations from our chapter members and friends. New, used, homemade, custom, rods, reels, release tools - you never know what is going to show up! If you have some old equipment or lures laying around collecting dust, please consider donating them for someone else to enjoy.

In addition to the auction, we will have a raffle for several specialty lures.

New this year, we will be holding a door prize drawing for some new and hard to get lures! All you have to do is show up for a chance to take home a free lure!

We hope to see you there!

Please contact Ethan Rogers at muskiestrike@gmail.com for more info.

Hey guys & gals,

The Bemidji/Cass Lake Muskies Inc chapter will be having our annual lure auction fundraiser at Cattails on Saturday - April 27th at 6:30pm. We'll be upstairs in the duck blind.

You do not need to be a Muskies Inc member to come, so please tell your friends & come out for some fun, have a drink or dinner at Cattails, talk some muskies & fill up your tackle box - guaranteed to find some GREAT deals!

We always have a table FULL of lures, maybe even some rods and reels.. You just never know what is going to show up! You will literally be able to get some new and used lures for pennies on the dollar!

If you have a lure or two that are picking up dust & you want to donate to the cause, please feel free - but is not required to come.

Mark your calendars - I hope to see ya there!

Also, I had my numbers off when I dropped off the rental house & reported to Matt that we had 72 pout, as we only had 64. After my 2 hrs of sleep for the weekend, I didn't have my numbers straight.

Sorry guys for any confusion - I just want to be honest.

We weighed in 175 lbs & most of our group didn't get much sleep either night. Didn't start fishing until 3pm on Friday.

We would have loved to fish for weeks, but we had guys from Nebraska & Wisconsin who took vacation days to come up for the weekend.

I'ts definately all in good fun, and we were very impressed by our efforts! Even if we didn't come anywhere close to Floyd's Barber shop group.

Can't wait until next year! Maybe I'll get a big head start next year & start fishing on Thursday night! lol
