Fished from Friday 3:30 pm until Saturday 4:30 pm. Iced 12 walleyes and one 11 perch. All fish caught on rattle reels or tip downs. I gave up on jigging early. Probably missed just as many. 7 feet of water about a mile out.

Plain hook with split shot and red bead worked the best. I crush the minnow to injure it and that works the best.

Something is messed up. When I try and use double quotes the post comes up blank. On an iPhone.

I run a Garmin Oregon 600 using an older Lakemaster chip in it. For batteries I switched to rechargeable Eneloop Pro which work really well for me in the code. That being said, I do try my best to keep my GPS inside my code for the warmth.

Yep, the zoom is patented.

From the manual.

Thank you for purchasing the MarCum LX-5 multicolor sonar unit. The LX-5
incorporates the latest in sonar technology, featuring a patented flexible zoom
that can be set anywhere between the surface and the bottom,

Someone needs to tell him the protest is in North Dakota, not Minnesota.

Alright, in all seriousness, if you let us know the year and engine size one of us may be able to find you a replacement for cheap.
