Well after 15 years out of 58 without a dog we have a new daughter at our house. We started looking for a smaller female yellow lab and found a lot of males out there. Then our daughter asked a friend who works with dogs and she knew a trainer that had the perfect match for us. So we are proud to introduce our new daughter 10 month old, 50 lbs and well trained already.

I have to agree with Reinhard there are Loopers and one day they are plenty and the next day not. One guy may catch them and the guys on each side may not.

I posted after driving by on Sunday that the ice had pushed in bigtime along the French with all the NE/E winds. Well yesterday they switched to N/NW and moved some ice back out into the lake. Here are pictures from about 2 pm yesterday. The ice chunks are 12" or thicker and sticking up 5' to 6' or more in places.

McQuade had 2 portables fishing.

They are fishing in McQuade and the French is pushed up for as far as you can see with large broken ice as in sticking up 3' to 4' at a 45 degree angle. It would be impossible to fish.

What a way to start out in the Otter. Keep the output going.

You could try Bullyan RV as they have a lot to sell and may rent.

Hi Jim, have had my Otter Lodge for 4 years now and love it. Hope to get up there in March after missing last year. I'm having Greenback withdrawals.

Travis and Brian it was a fun relaxing GTG topped off with wave surfing fishing last night.

Just for the info Travis's eye was 25 3/4" and mine was 21".

Like Travis said trying to get pictures easy in 4' waves and the wind and dark wasn't easy. LOL So forgive the blurry pictures. Brian had his line out but never had his hands off the steering as trolling the north shore in 4' wave hitting you on the side and trying to stay in the 4' - 8' depth was not an easy task.

Are you using the quick connect or the hose and filter? Mine is 6 years old and lots of use and if I keep the tube cleaned and works like it was new. I have always used the quick connect or 1 lb bottles a few times. Not sure how the bump sensor works but maybe that has gone bad. Did the service guy say anything on that? Good luck.
