No, that is the only access that you can drive out of on Briggs. The access on the NW side of the lake is walk in only.

Hole sleeves themselves won't really help much if the house is not banked. I would wrap insulation around them and maybe wrap reflectix around the insulation.

I really like my Ice Armor Sub Zero rubber boots. I was a little skeptical at first, but came away very impressed with them. They are comfortable, warm and 100% waterproof. And, at the end of the day you don't have to deal with frozen laces. I've had rubber boots that were difficult to put on and remove, but I haven't had that issue with these. Really a nice boot!

You could also contact the Stearns County Sheriff's Office to see if anyone may have turned it in to them. Hopefully it ended up in the right hands and it gets back to him.

My folks have a place on the north side and there is very little activity on the lake as far as fishing goes during the winter months. I've only personally tried it one time a few years back. In my opinion, there are far better lakes to fish in that area!

Mcdonalds Meats in Clear Lake has always been a favorite of mine. Although brats are not my favorite, I have had a couple different ones from there that were really tasty!

Amazing you were able to take a Starcraft boat and turn it into a Crestliner! All kidding aside, you did a nice job with that project. This was the same boat I grew up fishing in as a kid.

A German friend of mine that moved here a few years ago enjoys eating carp. They eat it for special holidays in Germany, much like turkey or ham is eaten here. He said the key to a good carp is allowing it to live in a tank of fresh water for 3-4 days after it is caught and replacing the water a couple times a day. Like others have said here, I told him I'd take his word on it!
