The x67 is an excellent unit. I have used the same unit for 8 years, open water and ice fishing. I use the flasher mode in the winter, graph in the summer. It is also 100% silent, and the battery lasts as long if not longer than any other flasher I have used. The issues with "cold weather" concerning the lcd screen is IMO a false statement. Ive used it in temps most people wouldnt think of , and it has never had a problem. Bottom line is people do not know the settings.

IF I had to pick a complaint about the x67, I have had problems in certain lakes with the bottom bouncing, like it wont lock onto bottom. But its not as big deal. Once you understand it , honestly there are settings in there that are way ahead of other flashers like being able to zoom in on certain depths.

I will add that I also have a fl20 and Ive had a lx5. They all work.

If I were you I would buy that one for $150 if I needed one.

By the way I fish with other flashers all the time and I have rarely seen any flashers work together in harmony. The x67 worked just fine for me next to vexilars and marcums, and Ive had my fl20 not work worth a squat next to fl-8's.

This guy is full of it, he was fishing right by us and had 2 pike in his sled. Whenever someone is fighting a fish, especially something bigger than a 5" perch, people know. He brought those fish with him.

It happened at about 230. I was out hole hopping I returned to the spot I started, had my gear there with a buddies Dad. He told me what was going on, The guy was pulling his sled away from the contest area and an Officer was following him. But he wasnt right behind him, he was talking with a few others walking kinda non-nonchalant behind the guy.

Im guessing that there probly isnt anything they can do to the guy except make him leave ? I should have snapped a picture but I was busy trying to catch a fish. They really should do better searches on these events.

Yea it was right by us. An older guy with a sled had two pike stashed in his sled. Some guy was yelling I FINALLY CAUGHT HIM CHEATING I believe he said the guy always wins prizes and even won a wheeler in the past. He was actually fishing right behind the weigh in spot maybe 20 yards to the NW.

Not sure if any of you have even seen this show, but I will promise you it is unlike any you have seen. These guys actually FISH, not just sit behind a desk in a suit and stage hooksets, pimp products by catching fish on private lake, etc.

Aaron Wiebe is a guy Ive known for about 7 years now. He sleeps in his truck. Sleeps in his boat. Sleeps on the ice. I promise you he thinks outside the box as well. He finally got the show he has been trying to produce on TV, but after 4 episodes it is now gone.

Make your decision on your own, but look up uncut angling on You tube, and just watch a few. Aaron is a heck of a nice guy and one hell of a fisherman.

There is a guy west of wilton that has a small shop , a little west of that archery 3d range. I cant remember the name but he replaced mine and did a good job. Basically take that road west by the high school its on the north side of the road , like I said after archery road.

I have a 1992 Polaris Supertrack 2-up for sale in the classifieds. It has a new rebuilt engine, I actually just swapped the old one out this week. Its perfect for what you are looking for, I used it on Winnipeg for a few seasons, it has Hi/low range and the all important reverse. If you are near central Mn and want to try it out let me know.
