I would say burntside or snowbank I made it to snowbank in 2 hours and 15 min last trip. I use trout teasers they are 15 bucks each but well worth it

I have been to alaska a few times fishing and the best thing to do is get out of town off the beaten path, the experience is much better then just doing a charter out of anchorage or what not there are many rivers on the kenai penninsula that are great fishing and dont see the fishing traffic, some of the smaller islands such as petersburgh also have great salmon and halibut fishing with way less tourist!!! Its the most fun fishing i have ever done!!!
