I've been keeping an eye on that but heard they got a little more snow recently. Was hoping for a little more current or up to date report. I'll be checking back on Thursday though when it gets updated again. Hoping they have a lot more than around the Willmar area.

Heading up this weekend to the cabin and was planning on bringing the sled. Just wondering how much snow is up in the area and how good the trails are. I'll be west of Mille Lacs by the Harding, Pine Center area.

Thanks

Hit Norway last Wednesday and Thursday for a few hours. Wednesday was a bit of bust. We were marking fish in about 26 feet of water but no takers.
Went back out Thursday and moved in to 22 feet of water and downsized a little with a mix of walleye and crappie gear. Caught one 16 inch eye and quite a few crappies to keep the kids busy. We'll be switching over to panny mode later this week and will probably be back on Green.

I don't think the cutting affected us at all...just sub par spot and weather I think. Cutting is being down up on the NE side and we were on the SW side.

Also, quick side note.....I helped a guy get unstuck from a small pressure ridge on the SW side just out from the landing when we were out (tire dropped into it). Turns out that opened up last night and a truck dropped in partially so be safe out there.

I'm also on my second season with the K-Drill / Milwaukee combo and love it. Just a quick side note, wouldn't hurt to add a little more foam noodle to the extension. Had a buddy with the extension on and it came out of the drill and sank. Luckily he was in about 10 feet of water and could see it and retrieved it.

We were out on Green a couple days ago and it was pretty slow. Had to get out and try the new Ice Castle for the first time and for the most part everything went smooth. The only bumps we ran into were on the ice. We couldn't get on the lake on the north side anywhere. The access in the north west corner (not Rush Brown but the other one) was accessible but you were limited on location due to a pressure ridge out there.
We ended up going on at the landing in Spicer and set up in about 20-22 feet of water on some structure on the south side and were on about 16 inches of quality ice. We were marking a few but fish were very inactive.
Even though it was slow our almost 4 year old daughter enjoyed it and our 1 year old son couldn't keep his paws off the rattle reals. Can't wait to get out in a few days when it warms up a bit.
