I've had my Predator's for 5-6 years and they have never failed me. Heavy but very warm. I'm surprised at the previous post stating they leaked. I have heard good things about Baffin too.

I've been using an old mad dog mount that has a v- clamp for one end and then 2 rubber mounting plates with Velcro on the other end to attach to the handles. Keeps the head supported and also the gas tank to point up. the link shows a picture.

I have had good luck with the AT3's. My current truck 2015 F250 came with the Michelin AT2's and they are a great tire too. They seem to be smoother on the freeway than the AT3's were but it was also on an older truck. You could always just buy a set of winter tires and switch them back in the spring.

I do mine on my Big Green Egg at 220ish for about an 1 1/2 hours. I like to season them and pour a little maple syrup as it is cooking towards the end. Makes a nice glaze.

It is amazing how much you miss it once you fish with it and then go out on a boat without it. Huge advantage. Also, really good if you fish buy yourself to use the "anchor" mode to hold you in a spot when catching a fish or if you get snagged
