Nice fish and thanks for the report. Were you guys using shiners, rainbows or fatheads? Which produced the best?

Were you guys fishing the main lake or bays, don't need your hotspots just wondering?

I am heading up this week/weekend and looks like rain but can't wait to get on some eyes.

I am really hoping the ice is gone by the 17th, and will be following updates here frequently, so lets keep each other up to date.

I was up there for 1/12-1/14, fished in 28 fow with a steady bite all day. Caught around 65-70 fish, mostly saugers with a few walleye mixed in, 1 bonus eel pout. Not much for size had to sort a lot and kept some 14-16 inchers for meals. 1st day dead stick with red hook out performed other methods (jig to get them coming in and would hit dead stick) the other 2 days jigging was definitely out performed dead stick. Had best luck on pink and white northland glo spoon and smaller perch buckshot other good colors were gold and silver.
