Thanks for the info. Have you had much luck finding Crappies on WOman this time of year?

This is all good advice. Yes, things are booked-up but I've found openings on Black Duck, Cass Lake, Mille Lacs, and spoke with Captain Josh out of the St. Cloud area that says he can put me on Pannies and the occasion eye... You can't argue the convienence of Mille Lacs or Annandale/St. Cloud area... So tough to decide. I have been disappointed heading up to Mille Lacs in the past, it's too bad because I always hear how good it can be. Maybe I haven't found the right outfitter.

Fishwater420 - You'd make a good salesman :) Sounds pretty awesome. I've never been up there and have always wanted to go... Hmmmm I'll have to think about it and run it by the boys. I've heard LOTW walleyes bite during the day hours??? Catching fish during the day is a big bonus!

As much as I'd like to make it up to LOW or Devil's, I only have two nights. So I'm thinking within 4.5 of the cities.... I was looking at Black Duck, Red Lake, Leech, Winni but still open for suggestions.... I was sad to hear that Winni isn't fishing like it used to. Finding Jumbo perch during the day and Walleyes in the evening would be ideal. BTW, the boys are adults :)

Hey Friends,
The wife gives me a fishing trip with the boys every year for Christmas :) I'm looking for a spot weekend of Feb. 26-28. We'll need to rent a sleeper or a day shack and will bring portables too. What's biting and where??!!
Like always, any intel is much appreciated!
Thanks,
Icerookie
