We had very similar results to you all as well. Lot of smalls and a single limit of keepers with a couple bonus jumbo perch. We caught them with jigs and trolling cranks in 5-8'.

Thanks F6 and Joe. I appreciate it. This gives me some good info to work with. Good luck if you're on the water this weekend!

I'm heading to BSL for opener this year and was curious if anyone would share any tips for walleyes there this time of year. Thanks!

nope, been skunked on Wayzata the last two times. Might try again this weekend. not sure if I'll do the weedline or find some deep structure, hard to say this time of year on Tonka.

gotta love those Tonka footballs, anything over about 15 inches usually looks like a tank. Must be very well fed. nice one

my speed tube got clogged about 7 years ago, I haven't bothered to try and unclog. GPS and RPM work good, the speedo is just for looks I think.

I have a Lund Fisherman with a few small spots (size of a pea) where the paint is gone, down to the metal. Is there a special primer to use before the touch up paint? any tips on applying the paint to make it blend in well with the original? Thanks

I caught about a 5lber under the Crosslake bridge on opener casting a shap rap. I found that a bit odd too.

pagelera, I have a cabin on Little Pine and I haven't ever caught a smallie on it. I'm usually trolling 10-15ft for pike or whatever bites on LP. I'm sure they're in there, but I would think I'd have run into one here and there.
