I have heard that walleye are in their but haven't seen any. Went out tonight and caught 50 plus crappie. 8 to 9 inches but 3 were 10 to 10.5 inches. Catch and release. Most action was from 5 to 5:30p.m. wax worm in daytime and minnows/minnow head at dark. 9 ft of water. Girlfriends first fish of the new year

Is Cedar still a great place to find Crappie? We were there last March and caught 30+ per person. I am bringing a friend fishing for the first time, and I'd love to get on Crappie to keep her busy.
