Sounds like we may get less snow than they originally predicted. I guess we'll have to see.

I know for this last Sunday when it snowed they were saying initially 4-8 inches of snow in the Saint Cloud area. We got like 1 in that melted within the next day. I feel like this one could be a dud too. But you never know until its all said and done. Either way birds are in the mood from what reports are coming in and yeah if it snows a lot it will suck being outside in the dampness. The main thing is the turkeys are still here and didn't fly south LOL.
Good luck everyone going out this next week and hopefully this snow misses us.

Every time I look at the weather report the snow moves farther south and south west! I'll get destroyed down here at home but hopefully the hunting land doesn't get much

I'm seeing the same maybe 3 inches in my area. Went for a little drive this morning again since I won't be around untill day before season but the main group of birds moved a little closer to the land I can hunt. I'm hoping by then they split up little more. Also parked by a peice of timber I can hunt and there were a few crows flying over and could hear for sure 3 different shock gobbles from the crows. Was pretty windy so could be more in there also. If storm goes well I will be getting my A tag and hunting. My wife has B so I'll be out anyways with her for that.

Get your snow camo if your not hunting in a blind. Lol. Its gonna suck but I will be out Thursday morning and then again for the weekend. At least it will be warmer by then. Still have all the snow to deal with though.

yeah we got a ton of snow down here in the cities. How's it looking up by Mora?

I'm going to be out Thursday, try to get out on the weekend and will be out on Monday and tuesday if need be. I've been sitting on frozen lakes this winter, sitting on some snow doesn't scare me.

I'm trying to figure out the logistics of hunting this week, my decoys aren't tall enough..... 20 inches of snow, 24in decoys, ha.

Interesting hadn't thought about the decoys yet. Maybe with the warmer temps the next couple days the snow pack will develop a hard crust to help you out.
