Get your bait at the Farm Island Store they even had shinners laast weekend something most bait shops haven't had lately try them and some rainbows look for 20 - 30 ft during the day for best Walleye action

There are some locals who have houses out there. They know where good spots are. Some are off the southeast side near the point and steep drop off. Others are off the island(s) to the north. If you are fishing it for the first time, stop at a place like the Farm Island Store and baitshop and ask for advice. Like always, be careful driving just anywhere. Other than using the perm houses for a starting point, check a hydro map for the edges of the deeper holes. It's a good lake with special regs, I believe. Check the DNR info.

Guess I was a little late, Rywheat. :) Farm Island Store also has great caramel rolls and cinnamon raisin bread for when the fish aren't biting. They are on 169 just across the road from the FIRM (Farm Island Repair and Marine). If you stop at the FIRM, ask for Rocky. He lives/fishes on the lake and is a good guy.
