I was up on Saturday 11/23 to finish getting the skid house ready.

I saw ice and had ot walk on it. It was solid and slick. I fif not have cleats so I did not make it out to see how thick it was where someone had drilled a hole.

I was at the Flickabird access. It looked like the middle was open. The south end was all locked up.

Smaller. 80% were in the 9-10" range.

I had some nice Pike though. 26" - 33"

You can make a fine meal with 9-10" crappies!

Looks like there was 7-8" of snow there. I assume the ice got pushed down and is got water on top of the ice now.

Bummer. Had been a good start of the season for good ice.

I was planning on going fishing there 12/9 but not sure now.

Anyone been to Rush West or East lately?

I will be up this weekend. I am wondering if I can get around with the ATV or will I need to walk due to slush and snow.
