First trip on big Windy today
Travel via quad BUT did see alot of trucks and Vans in the lake, NOT me yet.
Fished in 14 feet. No masters but 43 between 3 of us in 5 hrs fishing. Most in the 20 to the 24" range. Did get our limit of 17s".

Full 11 inches of ice and no snow.
Parking is available on the lake shore and washrooms and garbage cans in place.

Be careful, it is early ice and ONLY 11"

I need to make another trip up there before this boy gets to old. Love it up there but seems something always comes up and I don't get to see my old buddy Canuck anymore. Hopefully I can make a trip up catfishing this year......Kirk

Fished Lake Wpg today in the same spot as last week and found 19inches of solid blue ice, that is 8 more inches.

Chubby darter was the hot ticket today. 1st master of the season but just barely 28 1/4. Most fish were still in the 20 to 24 inch.

They pulled the camper out of the lake today.

Enough snow for sleds. Vehicles driving all over the lake.

I should add there is plenty of space to park in the harbour, just stay away from where the trucks and camper went through. They are well marked.

Glad to see you getting out and catching those great greenbacks my friend. Those chubby darters can catch fish and big ones at the right time. Thanks for the report from your neck of the woods and the update on ice conditions......Kirk
