Yes, there is progress being made. Here is a quick update.

The designers are working on the new website which includes design, layout, forums. The biggest task will be the transferring of data, previous posts (as many as we can transfer over) and some other information.

All members login information will remain the same. You will have to upload an avatar on the new site as we can't get those to transfer.

The website will have a new look and feel but will still have the same great content areas and of course the forums. My goal is to build it back up to an active site where members and visitors can come for information, entertainment and to learn things.

I would ask that you all have an open mind as we are all used to the current site so it will look different.

We are hoping to wrap up the new site and get it launched in the next month or so but the timing will depend on how long the data transfer takes.

Looking forward to seeing the new site. Hopefully it can become a vibrant useful site once again. Even with the changes I do still see an uphill battle. I've been a member of a number of forums over the years and most of them hit the wall a number of years ago and its been a slow demise since then. A few still get a lot of visits but the quality of content as diminished and the negative attitudes have increased.

Hope this one can be one of the good ones again.
