What are your opinions on the best electric auger or drill/auger setups? I've seen lots of opinions on this topic in the past and am just looking for input from LSF readers.

Few friends with the strike master 40v. Seems to work great. Not sure your style of fishing or target fish. If mainly panfish the drill and bit style seems pretty good for that style but I haven't used my self

No issues on my end either.

But back to the questions. I have the kdrill paired with the Milwaukee M18 and doubt I'll go back to anything else. With the 2 batteries I can drill 40-50 holes which is more than enough for my style of fishing. I have the smaller kdrill which is great for panfish but if I want to do tips ups for pike I'll just drill 2 holes side by side.

When I bought the kdrill i was also in the market for a new drill so I figured I'd kill 2 birds with one stone which really made my money go further. Now I have a great auger for all of my ice fishing needs and I have a top end drill to use all year long.

Joe try clearing the cache of you web browser and or try a different one to see if it helps.

I bought a Strikemaster 40v last year and have no issues. At the end of last season they were going for around $350 which is insane. Especially compared to what Ions go for.
