It was a great day to be out. Kept 3 of the 5 walleys. Biggest 16 inches. Released 1 Pike and 1 Perch.

It was a great Dec day to be out, I counted 20+ houses out for the bite and we were the last off around 7 PM I landed 3 small eyes and lost 2 eaters, 1 at the hole. I got to try out the Polar Vision from Strikemaster which worked great and though the temps were balmy? My ice-sentials which I didnt overheat in the warm and didnt get cold at all when the sun went down. I fished by a low lit lantern no heater cool as it got I felt just as comfy as earlier.

Nunnu I wont be able to get back up today I have to head south for work then hopefully a panfish bite on a small lake on the way home.

Grandpa Jack
Sorry I missed you, nunnu came over and said you were there though you had to leave soon. We will have to get together this winter.

As i was leaving the ice on Sat. i had a chance to talk to another fisherman. He was talking to Tim Baker and then came over to his car which was parked next to mine. I asked how he did, and he said it was slow. I told him about the 5 walleys in which i kepted three. Told him about the three that i missed or where at the hole, and even told him about the Pike and the Perch. He went WOW DID YOU GET LUCKY. I told him how i recieved all the information on when the bite was and what to use. He asked me where to get information like that? LSF BABY! So a 5 minute talk and i think we have a new viewer and hope a new member.

We went up there again this afternoon and did really good again. Almost all of us took some really nice eyes again. 2 of which were a fat 18 inches (and I mean FAT). The bite didn't really happen for us until the sun sunk below the tree line.

I caught and released this Pike as well...

Sweeeet! Looks like you guys had a good time once again! Did Mikey get any walleyes?

I hit Big Lake this afternoon for a couple hrs and got on some decent sized crappies and a load of gills some were keepers but I released everything.I fished until 4:30.
Nunnu let me know if you wanna go chase some crappies and gills, when the walleye madness ends..

Another beautiful day on the ice.

I hate to say it, but no, Mikey didn't get any. He had a bad streak of luck goin for him. Although, he did get decent pike.

So, he said his manhood depended on him catching some fish, and he went up AGAIN today to see if he could snap his streak. Hopefully he'll pull through...

We'll get together for sure and hunt some panners when this walleye hit slows....

L8R,
Nunnu

A whole bunch of people made it out for an afternoon of kick butt walleye fishing. I iced 5 of which I released 3 kept a 16 a 14 and a nice perch from MNICEMAN, all of them made for fish sandwiches for Dory and I for dinner.
The smaller of the 2 walleyes I kept I had to work for. The bobber went down, so I played it out and Bam! Set the hook, and snap goes the line. This was the 2nd time today this happend so I put that rod in the rod locker and grab my light action and start to get it set up and suddenly I see my Ice Buster swimming around my hole just under the ice. So, i shove my arm down into the Abyss I felt the bobber and my line, grabbed it and hand over handed it up and out. Got my Ice Buster and my jamminjigs Neon Teardrop jig back and he took a dive into the Ice Well soon to be dinner.

All fish were right on the bottom and were caught on Jamminjigs Neon Teardrops

Nunnu as usual it was good to see you out, good to see you got Wart out too and Grandpa Jack, good to see you and Dory says Hi.
How did your end do?
