I will start a topic for teams to sign up on to be ready for the first event of the year. It will be on Minnetonka. We will again use the landing on Gray's Bay on hwy 101. If you look at a map of the lake, or your GPS unit, you will see it at the far East end of the lake. Date is April 28th. I hope that there will be more competition out there this year than last year and the weather stays nice.
Come join us for the first event of the SW Metro Fishing League, see separate topic for sign ups.

Next event is out on Lake Parley. Come join the fun at 6pm Monday. It's going to be warmer, so the fishing should also heat up!

An interesting addition to our rules is coming. We are adding roughfish and Catfish to the species list. This means we might have a couple river outings this summer added in. Of course, I always get a giant Bullhead once in awhile, so that can help things add up in the points.

I can't make this week as I'm travelling for work and also shopping for a trolling motor.

Good luck and have fun guys.

I hope we can get more to show up but I wouldn't expect much until it warms.

Those that do show up will have a chance to get ahead in the points early on in the season. See you next time Vikingmeatwad!

Well, Parley Lake was tight lipped! I did manage to land one bullhead, which was enough to outfish someguy102. Sorry for that slam, someguy102! See, all it takes is one fish at some events to win. I am sure anyone can do that. Come join us out on Prior Lake Monday the 12th. We have more species open for options!
