Great Job Mike! It will be great to meet you all in person! Again as we get closer to Feb. let me know if I can help out in any way. I may be able to provide some Venison Brats with those hot dogs! That is if Crankin21 is willing to part with some of his 400lbs in deer meat.

This is gonna be Great! Thank you, Mike!
Fish Lake is a great lake in the winter, because of its multi species; of walleye, pike, and the panfish class. Though the bite can be challenging at times? It can also be very rewarding.
Tim his wife Kim are a great hosts, so this will be a great time for all! There is a cabin left and some houses on the ice call 218-721-4416 to get your spot reserved there are also hotels within driving distance to the lake, directions to follow.

Mike
I will bring my grill for the on ice Char B Q

DIRECTIONS TO THE BLAST

From the Metro

35N to the Midway road exit, this is the 4th exit after Cloquet.

Take a left on Midway Road and stay on until highway 53 (Approx 11 miles) you will come to an intersection at 53 with a Holiday Gas and Fishermans Corner next door, If you choose touse shiners? I would suggest getting them there and say hi to Scott and his staff. The rest of your bait, can be purchased right at the resort and if they get shiners in I will let everyone know.

If you dont need to stop? Keep going straight across Hwy 53 past Holiday and down to the Martin Road.
Take a right on the Martin Road and follow to the Lavaue junction (Interstcion 4 way stop)
Take a left on Lavaque and stay on it over the Fish Lake Bridge past 2 other resorts; 1 on each side of the bridge until you come to the Minnowette Bait shop.

Take left at the stop sign and you will be on Fish Lake Road.

Follow Fish Lake Road down to the next intersection

Take a left on Fish Lake Dam Road and follow down about a 1/2 mile

Hi Banks Resort is on the left hand side.

He has bait there now? Never noticed it when I went in, but yes I agree that we should support him if we can. Does he have a good selection of minnows?
